Gas Bullet Accident in Dhading Sparks Safety Concerns

A gas bullet transporting liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from Chitwan to Kathmandu met with an accident on Sunday at Krishnabhir, Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-7, in Dhading district. According to the state-owned national news agency RSS, the tanker veered off the road and plunged down a slope, raising concerns about a potential gas leak in the area.

The District Police Office, Gajuri has deployed a team for rescue operations. While no injuries have been reported, the search for the driver and the assistant is ongoing, RSS added.

Authorities have urged residents to exercise caution and remain vigilant for any signs of a gas leak. Police Inspector Suraj Shrestha of the District Traffic Police Office advised locals to report any suspicious odor or leakage immediately by contacting the emergency hotline number 100.
