Lions Club Distributes Award

August 9: The Lions Clubs International District 325 B 1 Nepal has distributed awards to its members. The award distribution was held at Hotel Annapurna amid a function on the Chairmanship of Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun. The Lions Clubs chapter felicitated more than 300 Lions for their contribution in making Lion year 2015/16 successful.

According to District Governor (DG) of Lion Year 2015/16, Lion Dhurba Bahadur Thapa, the awards and certificates of appreciation were provided as a recognisition to Lions and other organizations for their contribution for achieving success during his tenure.

The award with special recognisition was provided to the First Vice DG of 2015/16 Bal Krishna Burlakoti, Second Vice DG Dhan Raj Acharya, and Cabinet Secretary Biseshowr Acharya. Similarly, Cabinet Treasurer Prajapati Bastola, District Chief Advisor Ashok Shrestha, District first lady Milan Thapa and President of Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bindu Kumar Thapa were also awarded in the program.

Other officials, Clubs, Club President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer were also recognised with awards and certificates for their excellent performance in different sectors.
