Former Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolis Singh Passes Away

Former Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) PL Singh passed away on Monday morning. He was 87.    
According to the family sources, Singh breathed his last while undergoing treatment.    
Nepali Congress leader Singh had been under treatment of stomach related disease.    
His body will be kept at his residence, Chakisibari, Kathmandu up to 11.00 am on Monday and then at Nepali Congress central office, Sanepa, for two hours.    
His last rites will be performed today (Monday) itself. 

Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City has announced a public holiday today to mourn the demise of the former mayor. -- RSS
