August 16: Citizens Bank International has extended its support to Child Development Society. The bank has provided Rs 50,000 to establish a health clinic. Umanga Sharma, Chief Administrative Officer of the bank handed over the cheque to Subhas Gautam, Secretary General of the organisation. Earlier the bank under corporate social responsibility had signed an agreement of providing Rs 25,000 for a year to National Badminton Player Nakshal Tamang. Speaking at the occasion, Sharma committed to continue such supports in upcoming days as well.
Meanwhile, the bank has started ATM services at Mahabouddha and Manbhawan branches. Moreover, it has started branchless banking service at Dewrali VDC of Nuwakot district in collaboration with Saksham-Access to finance program. The bank has appointed Aaisingh Tamang as its local business representative in order to operate the branchless banking service.
