Ncell Providing Mobile Financial Service

August 19: Ncell, the telecommunication service provider will introduce mobile financial service to its customers as a part of its service expansion. Simon Perkins, Managing Director of Ncell announced the new mobile financial service amid an occasion of re-branding of the company.

According to the policy introduced by Central bank, Ncell will provide mobile payment services for financial transactions to its customers. “The customers will get the financial services including funds transfer within the country, to or from abroad and bill payments,” said Perkins.

As mentioned in the policy, the mobile company needs to open subsidiary office to operate mobile financial services as permitted by NRB. Under the mobile financial services, various services including payment through mobile phones, borrowing or giving loans, withdrawing money and transferring funds can be done.
