The Policy Research Institute (PRI) and the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on policy and research-related areas.
PRI Executive Chairman Prof. Dr. Lekhnath Sharma and CNI Director General Ghanashyam Ojha signed the MoU on Thursday, formalizing their partnership to work on policy and industrial matters.
PRI, a government think tank, reviews public policies, programs, and strategies through research and analysis, providing policy recommendations to the government.
CNI Director General Ojha stated that the MoU aims to bridge the gap between the industrial sector and academia, foster collaboration on policy and industrial issues, conduct joint research, generate data, and support capacity building.
The partnership between PRI and CNI is expected to create a synergistic impact on the country's economy by strengthening coordination in policy formulation. -- RSS
