LIC Nepal's Jiban Shree Scheme

September 2: LIC Nepal has launched 'Jiban Shree' insurance scheme targeting its clients aged from seven years old to 50 years old. Prof Dr Fatta Bahadur KC, President of Insurance Committee inaugurated the scheme amid a program organised on August 31.

The company informed that the scheme will cover Rs 500,000 insurance amount for the period of 15 years. Under the scheme, the company has announced to provide Rs 65 as sure-shot bonus for the first five years. From the sixth year to maturity period of the policy, the company will provide announced bonus rate. As per the scheme, the company will compensate clients on meeting of accidents up to 15 years after paying insurance amount for five years. Abhijit Ghosh Dastidar, Acting CEO of the company informed that the clients paying insurance premium for two years will get loans facilities from the company.
