Kailash Bank’s Branch in Birauta

September 2: Kailash Bikas Bank has opened its 37th branch at Birauta, Pokhara. The branch was inaugurated by Siva Raj Shrestha Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank amid a program organized on August 31. The bank informed of preparing to open a new branch in Bagar, Pokhara as well. 

According to the bank, it has paid-up capital of Rs 1.58 billion. In the last FY 2071/72, it collected Rs 15.6 billion in deposits and extended loans of Rs 13.50 billion. During the period, the bank has earned the operating profit of Rs 440 million. The bank has submitted proposal to Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to issue 20 percent right shares.
