Citizens Bank's BLB Service in Najaramandap

September 19: Citizens Bank International has started branchless banking (BLB) service in Najaramandap VDC of Nuwakot district. Issuing a press statement, the bank informed of starting the BLB services in a bid to provide accessibility of financial services in the districts that are hard-hit by the devastating earthquake of last year. According to the statement, the bank has started operation of the BLB services in collaboration with the UKaid's Sakchyam Access To Finance project.
