Bailey Bridge Installed Over Kaligandaki River in Mustang

A Bailey bridge has been installed over the Kaligandaki River in Mustang, connecting Wards 1 and 2 of Gharapjhong Rural Municipality.

The federal government contributed Rs 19.7 million as a special grant for the Rs 28.7 million project, according to the state-run RSS news agency. The rural municipality funded the remaining amount.

Sub-Engineer Rajan Kandel of the rural municipality said the 42-metre-long, 4.2-metre-wide bridge took two years to complete.
