Nepal SBI Bank Honoured with Multiple International Awards

Nepal SBI Bank Limited (NSBL) has received multiple international awards for its digital innovation and banking services.

The UK-based Capital Finance International (CFI.co) honoured NSBL with the “Champion in Modern Banking Innovation Nepal 2025”, citing the bank’s efforts in digital integration and customer-focused innovation, the bank said in a statement on Sunday.

Separately, Singapore-based Asian Banking & Finance (ABF) named NSBL the “Nepal Domestic Digital Transformation Bank of the Year” and “Nepal Domestic Technology & Operations Bank of the Year” in its Wholesale Banking Awards for 2025. The bank also won “Digital Business Banking Initiative of the Year–Nepal” and “SME Bank of the Year – Nepal” in the Retail Banking Awards category.

NSBL, a joint venture with State Bank of India, has been in Nepal for 32 years. It currently operates with 101 branches, 22 extension counters, seven provincial offices, 20 branchless banking locations, 125 ATMs, and a corporate office.
