SPG Automobiles Pvt Ltd, the authorised distributor for Omoda and Jaecoo vehicles in Nepal, on Wednesday launched the Jaecoo J5 SUV at the NAIMA Mobility Expo 2025 in Kathmandu.
The company said the Jaecoo J5, designed with European-inspired styling, features 185 mm ground clearance, a panoramic sunroof, an 18-inch spare tyre with alloy wheels, a 461 km driving range, and 480 litres of boot space.
The vehicle is priced at Rs 6.099 million , with an introductory offer of Rs 5.699 million during the expo.
SPG also announced special discounted prices on other models during the event. The Omoda E5 is now available at Rs 5.499 million (down from Rs 6.199 million), while the Jaecoo J6 is offered at Rs 6.599 million (reduced from Rs 6.999 million).
According to the company, these price reductions have been made possible due to declining global battery prices, lower input costs, and increased production scale.
Customers who book any Omoda or Jaecoo model during the expo will receive exclusive deals across the brand’s lineup, SPG added.
