MAXUS Launches MIFA 7 Electric MPV

Chinese automaker MAXUS has introduced its all-electric MIFA 7 MPV in Nepal, unveiled at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025 on Wednesday.

The vehicle was launched by Himalaya Motrox Pvt Ltd, the official distributor for MAXUS in Nepal. Priced at Rs 12.5 million, the MIFA 7 targets the premium segment, catering to both families and executive buyers. Customers who book during the expo are eligible for a promotional discount of Rs 1 million.

The front-wheel-drive MPV features a 2+2+3 seating layout and is powered by a 90 kWh battery, offering a claimed WLTP City range of up to 635 km. It delivers 180 kW of power and 350 Nm of torque, with DC fast-charging support that can charge the battery from 30% to 80% in about 30 minutes.

Inside, the MIFA 7 comes equipped with dual 12.3-inch displays, an 8-speaker audio system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless phone charging, Nappa leather seats, power sliding doors, and a panoramic sunroof.

Safety features include Autonomous Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Blind Spot Assist.

The vehicle includes a five-year or 100,000 km warranty on the motor and an eight-year or 200,000 km warranty on the battery.
