NATO Elects New Executive Committee

It will serve a three-year term beginning September 19, 2025

The new leadership includes Bishwesh Shrestha as President, Rupesh Joshi as First Vice President, Dambar Parajuli as Second Vice President, Shibesh Shrestha as Third Vice President, and Sarbottam Lal Shrestha as Fourth Vice President. Deenam Lamichhane has been elected General Secretary, while Abhishek Bikram Shah will serve as Secretary and Surendra Gurubacharya as Treasurer. The committee also comprises Raj Gyanwali, Hari Parajuli, Gambhir Shrestha, Sunil Rana, Jugesh Shrestha, Dawa Jimba, and Sikhar Prasai.

The Nepal Association of Tour Operators (NATO), one of the country’s leading tourism organizations, has successfully concluded its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Kathmandu by electing a new executive committee Friday, September 19. 

The new team will serve a three-year term beginning the same day. The new leadership includes Bishwesh Shrestha as President, Rupesh Joshi as First Vice President, Dambar Parajuli as Second Vice President, Shibesh Shrestha as Third Vice President, and Sarbottam Lal Shrestha as Fourth Vice President. In his remarks, incoming President Bishwesh Shrestha emphasized NATO’s legacy. The sector needs innovative strategies to face new challenges, he added.
