Visitors encountered everything from melt-in-the-mouth artisanal chocolates to crystals crafted to bring calm to hectic lives, alongside organic skincare brands and inclusive, locally made fashion labels. Each stall was more than a commercial venture; it told a story, embodied a vision and showcased the ingenuity of a generation determined to redefine entrepreneurship in Nepal. For many, NEF 2025 was more than just an event. It was an experience, a glimpse into a future shaped by ideas, purposeful innovation and the unshakable entrepreneurial spirit driving Nepal’s next chapter.
Chocolates by PS – Personalized Delight
Chocolates by PS started in 2024 as a small homemade chocolate venture by Er Pramit Bahadur Shrestha, someone who loves sweets and enjoys creating delicious treats. What began in his own kitchen has now grown into a heartfelt effort to share that love with others. At Chocolates by PS, the focus is on making chocolates that are not just tasty but crafted according to the customer’s preferences. The brand takes pride in creating each piece to match what consumers truly enjoy. Whether it is a gift or a little self-indulgence, these chocolates are made to bring a smile. The stall garnered attention during the event, where Shrestha said, “It’s about making people smile with something simple yet personal.”
Sphatika – Mindful Living
“Sphatika,” founded by Swarnika Neupane, is more than a retail business; it is a movement towards mindful living. Offering ethically sourced crystals and spiritual tools, Sphatika promotes healing, self-awareness and emotional balance. Neupane’s mission is clear: “In a world that’s fast and overwhelming, we want to remind people that healing begins within.” The stall resonated with visitors seeking calm and reflection in their entrepreneurial journeys.
Kanya Health and Beauty – Nature First
Kanya Health and Beauty, founded by Paru Sapkota, harnesses Nepal’s abundant natural resources to craft organic skincare, haircare and wellness products. Offering everything from herbal shampoos and handmade soaps to natural teas, mad honey and shilajit, the brand highlights a philosophy of health grounded in nature.
Aama Chhori Achar – Authentic Flavors
Based in Lalitpur, Aama Chhori Achar by Rupa Aryal is a homegrown pickle business specializing in authentic Nepali flavors. The range includes masu ko achar (chicken), machha ko achar (fish), prawns, timmur chop, til (sesame), badam (peanut) and methi (fenugreek) pickles. The business faces challenges in marketing and promotion, but Rupa is committed to scaling it through training and discussion-based solutions. With a strong social focus, the enterprise also aims to provide jobs for individuals with disabilities and the unemployed.
7R Tattoz – Fusion of Art and Style
A family-led venture, 7R Tattoz is helmed by veteran tattoo artist Raju Pandey, known for his precision and creativity. Complementing it, Jwells, curated by Srijana Pandey, showcases stylish, contemporary jewelry designed for bold self-expression. Together, the duo brought a fusion of artistry and fashion to NEF’s marketplace, embodying individuality in both ink and ornaments.
Nuga – Skincare, the Natural Way
Nuga, founded by Rashna Shrestha, offers natural, chemical-free beauty products designed to enhance skin health without harsh additives. “Our skin is sensitive and too often damaged by synthetic chemicals. With Nuga, we want beauty to remain close to nature,” Shrestha said. The stall appealed strongly to conscious consumers seeking authenticity in skincare.
Crochet Family – Handmade Creativity
Founded by Manita Ghale, Crochet Family is dedicated to handmade crochet artistry. The business offers a wide range of creations—from clothing and accessories to home décor and toys—along with custom-made pieces tailored to individual preferences. Beyond selling products, it also provides crochet classes, sharing skills with enthusiasts. Operated as a flexible, home-based business, Crochet Family reaches customers online as well as through craft fairs and local markets.
PR Handicraft – A Legacy in Craft
PR Handicraft, led by Pritika Shakya, is deeply rooted in family tradition. Inspired by their father, Prakash Shakya, a master artisan with over 25 years of experience, the brand crafts intricate, meaningful pieces that honor cultural heritage while appealing to contemporary buyers.
Nevan Collection – Women-Led, Purpose-Driven
Founded by Anjana Shrestha, Nevan Collection is a women-led brand rooted in passion, creativity and purpose. Specializing in handcrafted hair accessories, the brand combines elegance with everyday style. Beyond fashion, Nevan Collection serves as a platform for empowerment; creating opportunities for young people and equipping them with skill-based work. “When you choose Nevan Collection, you are investing in dreams, growth and a future shaped by women and youth,” said Shrestha.
Karkhana – Rethinking Education
Founded in 2012 by Pavitra Gautam, Karkhana is a social enterprise dedicated to creating hands-on learning experiences within regular classrooms. Its mission is to nurture a culture of experimentation that makes learning fun, dynamic and meaningful. By equipping students with essential skills and the right mindset, Karkhana empowers them to solve problems independently and shape their own futures. Collaborating closely with teachers, school leaders and students, the initiative is transforming education into an engaging and impactful journey.
Kaasya – Jewelry with a Mission
Kaasya, founded by Neha Chaudhary, is a socially responsible jewelry brand employing skilled artisans who are deaf, mute or survivors of human trafficking. Every handcrafted piece carries a story of resilience and hope, redefining jewelry not just as ornamentation but as empowerment.
Nepal Cotton House – Natural Living, Made in Nepal
Nepal Cotton House, led by Ranjana Shrestha, champions natural fibers under the motto “Made in Nepal and Natural Living”. The brand offers a diverse range of premium textiles, from 100% cotton, hemp, wool and linen clothing to both modern and traditional wear, elegant boutique dresses and comfortable bed sheets. As a dedicated manufacturer, it also fulfills custom orders tailored to individual needs. With its strong commitment to sustainability and quality, Nepal Cotton House stood out at the forum as a true reflection of the future of Nepali fashion.
Candle and Canvas – Aromas and Art
Founded by Dixit Bhatta and Sumira Shrestha, Candle and Canvas showcased eco-friendly, soy-based candles alongside original artworks at the Forum. Each hand-poured candle exuded soulful aroma, while the paintings reflected artistry from the heart. Together, they created a stall that was both calming and visually compelling.
