Shakya Elected HAN President

October 2: A new executive committee has been formed in Hotel Association of Nepal (HAAN). The 45^th AGM of the Association held at Soaltee Hotel on October 2 elected the new committee under the leadership of Amarman Shakya, owner of Ektare Hotel.

Srijana Rana of Annapurna Hotel and Binod Shankar Shrestha of Shankar Hotel have been elected First Vice-President and Second Vice-President respectively. Similarly, Binayak Shah, Managing Director of Airport Hotel is the General Secretary and Sunil Shakya of Park Village is the Treasurer in the new committee.

Meanwhile, Ghanashyam Shrestha of Western Hotel Association Chitwan was unanimously elected as the member representing the regional hotels.

Likewise, Dinesh Bista, PravinBahadur Pandey, Dinesh Tuladhar, Bishal Kumar, Rakesh Das Shrestha, Yuvraj Shrestha, Ramkumar Puri, Devendra Wagle, ThakurPrashad Pokharel, Sajan Shakya, Biplav Poudel, Ghanshyam Shrestha, CP Shrestha and Asit Rana have been elected as members. The AGM coincides with the Golden Jubilee of HAN. The Association has celebrated the occasion by organising various programmes from September 30 to October 2.
