Gold prices continued their downward trend in the domestic market for the third consecutive day this week.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, hallmark gold was being traded at Rs 237,000 per tola (11.66 grams) on Tuesday, October 28, down Rs 2,900 from the previous day.
The precious metal had earlier fallen by Rs 11,600 per tola on Sunday and Rs 2,000 on Monday.
The price of silver also declined by Rs 60 per tola from Monday to settle at Rs 2,920.
In the international market, gold was being traded at $3,975 per ounce, reflecting broader volatility in global bullion prices.
