Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) late Friday revised retail fuel prices, effective from Saturday, November 1.

The state-owned fuel supplier has cut prices of diesel and kerosene by Rs 1 per litre, while keeping petrol prices unchanged.

At the same time, the corporation has increased the price of aviation fuel for the domestic sector by Rs 1 per litre. For the international sector, it has been raised by $7 per kilolitre in Kathmandu and fixed at breakeven points in Pokhara and Bhairahawa airports.

After the adjustment, diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 141.50 per litre in the first category, Rs 143 in the second, and Rs 144 in the third. Domestic aviation fuel will cost Rs 128 per litre, while international carriers will now pay $973 per kilolitre in Kathmandu.

NOC classifies areas within 15 km of its depots in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj as the first category; Surkhet and Dang as the second category; and Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal as the third.

The price revision follows the latest import rates received from Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), NOC’s sole supplier.
