Harka Sampang’s Shram Sanskriti Party Registered with Election Commission

The Election Commission (EC) on Sunday, November 2, issued a registration certificate to the Shram Sanskriti Party, a new political outfit led by Harka Sampang, Mayor of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City.

According to the EC, the party was registered under Articles 4 and 5 of the Political Parties Act, 2073.

Sampang’s party is the first among seven newly proposed parties—which sought registration in the wake of the Gen-Z-led protests—to receive official recognition.

“We have formed a 28-member working committee,” Sampang said.
