The Karnali Yaks have posted 166 for 3, setting a 167-run target for the Chitwan Rhinos in the second match of NPL 2 on Tuesday, November 18, at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Kathmandu.

Opener Priyank Panchal starred on his NPL debut, falling just 10 runs short of a century. His blistering 90 off 48 deliveries featured seven fours and six sixes.

The Indian batter shared a 61-run opening stand with Max O’Dowd, who struggled for fluency and managed 20 off 30 balls with a solitary boundary. Coming in at No. 3, Mark Watt added 16 off 21 before departing.

The late-innings boost came from Pawan Sarraf, whose quickfire 27 off 16 balls — with three sixes and a four — pushed the Yaks to a competitive total. Najibullah Zadran remained unbeaten on 4 off 5 at the close.

For the Rhinos, Saif Zaib, Ravi Bopara, and Sohail Tanvir were the most economical bowlers, each claiming a wicket. Tanvir, however, endured a tough penultimate over as Sarraf dispatched him for two back-to-back sixes.
