Nepal Chamber of Commerce Celebrates Diamond Jubilee with Walkathon

The Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) began its Diamond Jubilee celebrations on Saturday, November 29, with a walkathon from its building in Jamal to Basantapur area in Kathmandu.

NCC President Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal led the walk that marked 75 years of the Chamber. Former presidents, industry and commerce representatives, businesspersons, youths, and cultural performers also joined the procession.

Speaking after the walkathon, Agrawal underlined the private sector’s role in shaping Nepal’s economy. “The Diamond Jubilee highlights the institution’s history, its contributions, and the direction for the future,” he said.

Organisers said the event aimed to promote healthy living, unity, and stronger ties within the business community.
