BOKL Earns Net Profit of Rs 270 million

November 14: The net profit of Bank of Kathmandu Lumbini has reached Rs 270.9 million in the first quarter of the current FY. The net profit has increased by 60.57 percent compared to the first quarter of the last FY.

Similarly, the operating profit of the bank has increased by 55 percent to Rs 390.9 million compared to the corresponding period of the last FY. The bank has extended loan of Rs 61.47 billion in the first three months of the current FY which is 79 percent more than the same period of the last FY. Likewise, the bank has been able to recover Rs 33.8 million bad debt of the last FY. The bank's non-performing loan has reached 1.12 percent.
