A total of 221,000 personnel will be mobilised nationwide for the March 5 elections.
Nepal is set to elect the 275-member House of Representatives next Thursday. Of the total, 165 members will be chosen under the first-past-the-post system. The remaining 110 will be elected through proportional representation.
Staff will be deployed across all 165 constituencies. The arrangement covers 23,112 polling centres in 77 districts. An additional 143 temporary centres have been set up for proportional representation voting only.
Election Commission Assistant Spokesperson Prakash Neupane said nine personnel will be assigned to polling centres with more than 500 voters. Centres with fewer than 500 voters will have eight staff members.
The Commission said election materials and ballot papers had been delivered to all 165 constituencies by Thursday, February 26.
