Voter Turnout 10.18% by 11 a.m.: EC

By 11 a.m., 10.18 percent of registered voters had cast their ballots nationwide, the Election Commission reported.

A total of 1,923,824 votes had been recorded by that time, accounting for 10.18 percent of the electorate, according to Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, spokesperson of the Commission.

There are 18.9 million eligible voters this time. Of them, 915,119 are new.
