Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) chair Rabi Lamichhane has taken a clear early lead in Chitwan–2. According to the latest tally, Lamichhane has secured 3,963 votes, while CPN (UML) candidate Asmin Ghimire is trailing with 1,947 votes.
In Jhapa Constituency No. 5, CPN (UML) chair KP Sharma Oli is trailing RSP senior leader Balen Shah. According to the latest count, Shah has received 10,190 votes, while Oli has secured 4,087 votes.
In Rukum East, Nepali Communist Party coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal is leading. Of the 2,635 votes counted so far, Dahal has secured 1,415 votes, while CPN (UML) candidate Leelamani Gautam is trailing with 431 votes.
