Swarnim Wagle of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has taken an early lead in Tanahun Constituency 1 as vote counting continues.
According to the latest tally, Wagle has secured 2,232 votes. Nepali Congress candidate Govinda Bhattarai is in second place with 1,004 votes.
Bhagwati Neupane of the CPN (UML) has received 127 votes, to remain third in the race.
