Upreti Assumes Presidency of NADA

Surendra Kumar Upreti has assumed office as president of the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA), succeeding Karan Chaudhary.

Upreti is the managing director of STC Group, the authorised distributor of CEAT tyres in Nepal. He previously served as the association’s general secretary.

Chaudhary formally handed over responsibilities to Upreti during the first meeting of the newly elected central executive committee held on Thursday, March 12.

After taking charge, Upreti pledged to make NADA more effective in advancing its objectives, statute and organisational values.

During the meeting, Upreti nominated Mahesh Pal, Deepak Kumar Agrawal and Rajesh Giri as members of the central executive committee, in accordance with the association’s statute.

The committee also decided to move forward with the election process to select other office-bearers soon.
