November 27: NRB has approved 29.20 per cent bonus share proposal submitted by Om Development Bank for distribution. The bank is headquartered at Pokhara. Issuing a press statement, the bank informed that it will distribute the bonus share after the final approval from its upcoming annual general meeting. The paid-up capital of the bank will reach Rs 1.36 billion after distribution of bonus share.
Meanwhile, the bank is preparing to merge with Manaslu Bikash Bank for which it has asked for approval from NRB. "After the merger, the paid-up capital of the bank will reach Rs 1.67 billion. Furthermore, the bank will increase its paid-up capital within the current FY through the issuance of right shares and bonus share," said Vishwo Mohan Adhikari, CEO of the bank.
