November 30: Kathmandu United Round Table 17 has built classrooms and toilets for Shree ThakuriGoan Primary School in a remote location of Kavre under its objective 'Freedom Through Education (FTE)'. Issuing a press statement, the zero-overhead organization informed that this will help over 100 plus students from nearby villages to avoid walking for hours to get primary education.
According to the statement, it was inaugurated on November 5 by LMF Tr. Nikhil Jaisani, President, Round Table Nepal and LMF Tr. Jitu Agarwal, Chairman, KURT 17 in the presence of other RTN Secretary- Tr. AnandBahety and all tablers of KURT17. The program was followed by distribution of food and stationery to all students and staff members of the school. Pashupati Paints supported this school with paint materials for the newly built school block.
