December 8: The students aspiring to study mobile application can now pursue their studies within the country. With the signing of MoU between Islington College, Kathmandu and Metropolitan University, London, students are getting this opportunity. The Islington College and Metropolitan University signed a MoU on operating various educational programs in the capital on Thursday, December 8. Sulav Budhathoki, CEO of the college and Professor John Raftery, Vice Chancellor of the university signed the agreement.
"Realising the importance and scope of mobile apps in all current activities, an academic program is being started. In first lot, a total of 80 students will be given admission," said CEO Budhathoki.
As per the MoU, scholarship up to 75 per cent will be provided to those students completing Bachelor's degree from the college and interested to pursue their Master's degree in information technology and management. Similarly, both educational institutions will operate MBA program in which students exchange program will also be conducted. Likewise, students can also pursue the PHD program under which the students will have to join the university during the final year only.
