December 13: Muktinath Bikash Bank has started a branch at Gopigunj of Nawalparasi aiming of providing financial services to rural area. The bank operated micro finance services in the area since last August. Min Prasad Gurung, Chairman of the bank inaugurated the branch amid a formal program. On the occasion, Bharat Raj Dhakal, CEO of the bank mentioned the objectives, strategies, services-facilities and future programs of the bank.
The bank believe that the people resided in Bardagath, Jamuniya, Bedauli, Badahara Dubauliya, Bhujahawa and Daunnedevi will get direct banking accessibility with the opening of the branch. Presently, the bank operates with a network of 30 branches, 17 limit banking, 2 extension counter and 47 micro-finance desk offices.
