Belgium Ambassador Meet with Nepali Entrepreneurs

December 20: Jan Luykx, Belgium Ambassador for Nepal has said that the investment environment is gradually improving in Nepal. He kept the view in a meeting with Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) on December 19. "Improvement in the political environment and drive of economic prosperity among the leadership has led certainty to the investable environment," said Luykx. He opined of taking advantage of the positive environment and enforcing joint effort of the government and private sector to obtain high and sustainable economic growth.

In the meeting, Hari Bhakta Sharma, President of CNI informing that all foreign companies operating in Nepal are earning higher rate of return, called upon Belgian investors to invest in Nepal.  

On the same day, Ambassador Luykx met with Romi Gauchan, Minister of Commerce and supplies and officials of Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC).
