Chhimek Approves Bonus share

December 30: Chhimek Laghubitta Bikash Bank is distributing 40 per cent bonus share and 12.70 per cent cash dividend from the distributable income of FY 2072/73. The 15^th annual general meeting held on December 28 at Hetauda endorsed the proposal of distributing the bonus share to its shareholders.

In the AGM, Bhuwaneshori Pant, Chairman of board of directors of the bank presented the annual report of the bank. Headquartered at Baneshwor, Kathmandu, the national level bank is providing microfinance services in 61 districts through 122 branches. The bank which was established in 2001 earned Rs 471.5 million net profit in the FY 2072/73.

"The AGM unanimously elected Vishwo Mitra Shrestha and karna Bahadur Ghale as board members from general shareholders," informed Ram Chandra Joshi, CEO of the bank.
