NB Bank's Branch in Phidim

January 8: Nepal Bangladesh (NB) Bank has started a branch in Phidim. Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana, CEO of the bank inaugurated the branch amid a function on January 6. "The branch has been started aiming to invest in local projects by collecting deposits locally," he said. The branch is 39^th branch of the bank.

Moreover, the bank informed of preparing relief distribution program to the fire victims of Sankranti Bazaar, Terhathum. According to the bank, it is preparing to provide discount in interest to the fire victims from the branch located at Sankranti Bazaar. Furthermore, the bank said that it is planning to request NRB to provide subsidised loan to the fire victims with regard to the earthquake victims.
