Regmi Selected Chairman of Stock Broker Association

January 8: A work committee under the chairmanship of Priya Raj Regmi has been selected for Stock Broker Association. The association unanimously selected a new work committee comprising 10 members on January 7. Bharat Ranabhat was selected vice chairman of the work committee. Similarly, Santosh Mainali, Tanka Prasad Gautam and Dharma Raj Sapkota were selected general secretary, secretary and treasurer of the work committee respectively. Likewise, Raj Kumar Timilsina, Binod Dhakal, Raman Dev Pant, Santosh Poudel and Sanjila Aryal were selected members of the work committee.

The 22th annual general meeting that started on January 6 concluded on January 7 with the selection of the work committee. The AGM endorsed the Chairman's report along with the balance sheet and income and expenditure report of the association for the FY 2072/73. In the AGM, various logical facets and required policies for the development of capital market were discussed.
