NIC ASIA Bank and Nepal Red Cross Society Sign MoU for Blood Donation Camps

January 11: Nepal Red Cross Society and NIC ASIA Bank have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate on conducting Blood donation Campaign across the country under the corporate social responsibility of the bank. Issuing a press release, the bank informed that the MoU was signed by Laxman Risal, CEO the bank and Dev Ratna Dhakwa, General Secretary of Nepal Red Cross Society amidst a function organized by the bank on January 10.

As per the arrangements between the two institutions, NIC ASIA will bear the financial costs for organizing 100 blood donation camps. Similarly, Nepal Red Cross Society will work on the technical part of blood collection, storage and distribution for effective management of blood donations across the country. Moreover, NIC ASIA Bank and Nepal Red Cross Society will organize and conduct awareness program about blood donation and motivation programs to educate the people to donate blood, reads the statement.
