Alpine Bank in Bhimphedi

February 2: Alpine Development Bank, headquartered at Hetauda, has started a branch in Bhimphedi. Sudarshan Prasad Adhikari, Chairman of the bank inaugurated the branch amid a program on February 1. The branch is the 15^th branch of the bank. "Alpine Bank has been expanding its branches in rural areas and providing banking services to rural people," said Adhikari.

Presently, the bank has been providing financial services in Makwanpur, Chitwan and Kavre. "In the branch opening day, 115 people started their bank account and deposited Rs 4.5 million," added Adhikari.
