Himalaya Airlines Starts Flight to Yangon

February 26: Himalaya Airlines has started direct flight to Yangon, Myanmar. The airlines took its first flight to Yangon, its fourth destination, from Tribhuwan International Airport on Friday, February 24.

According to the airlines, it will make flights on two week days including Monday and Friday. Lwin Oo, Ambassador of Myanmar for Nepal, Suresh Aacharya, Joint Secretary of Cultural, Tourism and Citizens Aviation Ministry and Bijay Shrestha, Vice-President  Administration of Himalaya Airlines took the first flight to Yangon along with other passenger. "The flight is expected to promote tourism, trade and investment opportunity between the two cities," said Shrestha.
