Tourism Rafting Riding Musical Concert 2017 on 4th March

March 1: The world’s first tourism rafting riding musical concert-2017 is set to be organised in a bid to promote tourism of Nepal and set a Guinness Book of Records through music.

The event is being organized in Trishuli river on March 4 by Mountaineering Culture Expedition Nepal Organisation in association with Nepal Association of Rafting Agencies and Everest Line Entertainment under the sponsorship of Nepal Tourism Board.  

“The event will be organised from Fishling to Kurintar of Trisuli,” informed the organiser amid a press meet on February 28. According to the organiser, the event is one of its kinds in the world. Madhav Raj Kharel, Event Manager said, "The event will play important role in promoting domestic and foreign tourism. Also, the event will convey a message that rafting in Nepal is safe."

As per Shekhar Thapa, Secretary General of Nepal Association of Rafting Agency (NARA), the event is going to be held in Trisuli as it is a safer site for rafting among the rivers permitted by Nepal Government.
