BLB Service of NMB at Sudal

March 2: NMB Bank has started branchless banking service in Sudal Village, Nagarkot Municipality, Bhaktapur from March 1. Issuing a press statement, the bank informed that Upendra Poudyal, CEO of the bank inaugurated the BLB service. Speaking on the inauguration program, Poudyal highlighted bank’s aim to reach doorstep of every citizen of the country through branchless banking services. 

According to the statement, Poudyal handed over the point of transaction (POT) machine to representative Keshav Neupane for branchless banking service of the bank at Sudal. 

“With the help of POT machine, the financial transactions such as cash deposit/withdrawal, balance transfer, utility payment, balance enquiry and others can be done securely using card and thumb impression of customers,” reads the statement. 

Currently, the bank is providing its services through 72 branches, 57 ATMs  and 7 extension counters.
