March 17: Bank of Kathmandu Lumbini is set to distribute 23 per cent bonus share. The 22nd annual general meeting of the bank approved a proposal of distributing the bonus share to its shareholders. Similarly, the AGM also endorsed a proposal of resuming its earlier name ‘Bank of Kathmandu’ which it changed to ‘Bank of Kathmandu Lumbini’ after merger with Lumbini Bank. Moreover, the meeting also approved a special proposal of issuing additional promoter shares to increase the ownership of promoter shareholders to 51 per cent.
