6th Nepal International Trade Fair Concludes

Mar 21, 2017- The five day long 6th Nepal International Trade Fair 2017 that started on March 16 has concluded on March 20, recording business transactions worth Rs 180 million.

According to Keshav Pandey, Chairman of Organiser’s Committee, the fair drew more than 200,000 visitors during the five days event.  “The fair provided platform for domestic and foreign traders to promote their goods and sign business deals,” he said.

As per the organizer, the fair showcased agricultural products grown at high altitude and herbal products from Nepal. 340 stalls including domestic and foreign companies showcased their products in the fair. Countries including China, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Thailand participated in the fair.

The fair had handicrafts, tourism, information technology, agricultural products, energy, construction, education, medicines and iron and steel stalls. Similarly, the fair also included various stalls of readymade dresses, leather products, new technology and equipments, food items, furniture, fashion wear, home decor and service sectors.
