Ncell Shuts Free Twitter and Wikipedia Service

March 26: Ncell has shut down its free Twitter services from Saturday, March 25. The privately owned telecommunication company was providing the free surfing of the popular social networking site Twitter to its customers since the last two years.

The free Twitter and Wikipedia services are being shut from March 25, said the company in a press statement. According to the company, it shut the services due to the end of an agreement with Twitter. Ncell will inform whether the services will resume or not later through a notice, reads the statement.  

Now that the free surfing of the services is not available, the customers will have to go through data package to operate Twitter through Ncell. Meanwhile, Ncell has added various offers in its data packages for the convenience of the customers. Although Ncell shut free Twitter services in its network, another popular social media network Facebook can be surf without any charge in the Ncell network.
