Nepal Earns Praise from The World Bank

April 23: The prediction of Nepali government of attaining 6.5 percent economical growth has earned praises in meetings of World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF). In the meeting held at Washington DC of America, Andin Hadiyanto, Executive Director of The World Bank calling the name of Nepal praised the higher economical growth of the country. He also congratulated Finance Minister of Nepal and Nepali representatives participating in the meeting for the growth.

“In the meeting, The World Bank has committed to double the support amount under IDA 18 in order to accelerate the economic development of Nepal,” said Baikuntha Aryal, Joint Secretary of Finance Ministry who participated the meeting. The bank has been supporting various developing economies under International Development Association (IDA). Aryal opined that The World Bank support to Nepal will pillar high economic growth in 2018.
