Govt Ready to Collaborate with Private Sector : Minister

April 27: The Ministry of Industry organized a welcome program for the newly-elected officials of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) at the Ministry on April 26.

Speaking in the program, Minister for Industry Nabindra Raj Joshi said that the government was ready to collaborate with the private sector regarding the economic development of the country.

Minister Joshi said problem solving regarding industrial administration has started as economic prosperity of the nation is in the priority of all the political parties.

The Minister said, “As a result, one-window system has been introduced  at the Department of Industry. The Ministry of Industry has developed a policy reform to create industrial environment in the nation. For this, I promise to constitute an Industrial Facilitation Committee to make services related to industrial administration prompt, transparent and well -managed.”

Similarly, Shankar Prasad Koirala, Secretary of the Ministry of Industry said that industrial administration is private sector –friendly, so the private sector has an important role for economic development of the nation.

Likewise, Bhawani Rana, newly elected President of FNCCI expressed the view that the private sector has received a boost as the government has agreed to support the private sector and that  it was ready to co-work with the government.
