May 2: The Indian Government has supported Election Commission (EC) with automobiles worth Rs 890 million for upcoming local level elections in Nepal.
Issuing a press statement the Indian Embassy informed that Indian Ambassador Manjeev Singh Puri handed over the automobiles to Ayodhi Prasad Yadav, Chief Election Commissioner of Nepal amid a program on May 1.
According to the Embassy, Indian government has provided 35 pickups, seven Scorpios, four Sedan cars, one SUV car, one each mini and micro-buses, 30 Pulsar motorbikes and seven scooters to EC.
