Yeti Airlines Support Social Organizations

May 4: Yeti Airlines has extended its support of Rs 16,937,984 to four different social organizations under its corporate social responsibility. The company handed over cheques amounting to Rs 407,016 each to Habitat for Humanity, Marfa Foundation, BlinkNow Foundation and World Vision International.

“The amount contributed has been accumulated by collecting Rs 4 from every ticket issued by the airline,” said the company in a press statement. According to the statement, previously Yeti provided such support to other social organizations as well. 

“The airlines provides discount of 50 percent to differently-abled, 25 percent to senior citizens, 33.33 percent to children and 90 percent to infants. Such discount is provided in Jet Stream-41 flights covering Bhadrapur, Tumlingtar, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Bharatpur, Pokhara, Bhairahawa and Nepalgunj to and from Kathmandu,” reads the statement.
