May 23: A Kashmiri food festival is being organised at Soaltee Crown Plaza, Kathmandu. Issuing a press statement, the organiser informed that the food festival ‘Kashmiri Dastarkhana-Kashmiri Wazwan collection’ that starts from from May 18 will conclude in May 28.
According to the organizer, the festival will showcase eight types of vegetarian and seven types of non-vegetarian delicacies. Similarly, it also includes three types of staples and two types of daals. “These delicacies are very popular in Kashmiri cuisine and each tastes differently,” said Daljit Sudan, curator of Kashmiri Dastarkhana and a renowned fashion designer who hails from Jamu.
