Binod Chaudhary Urges Foreign Investors to Invest in Nepal

July 3: Stating that Nepal's economy has witnessed satisfactory improvement of late, President of Chaudhary Group (CG) Binod Chaudhary has urged foreign investors to invest in Nepal. He made such request in the Sri Lankan capital Colombo during the 178th annual general assembly of Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, where he was invited as the chief guest.

Chaudhary said that this is the right time to invest in Nepal as the country has been enjoying good economic  growth rate, lack of load shedding problem and there has been rapid infrastructure development .  

Arguing that the traditional business mindset has become outdated, Chaudhary said that innovative approach to business has been helpful in leading the world market.

He also stressed the need of adopting Information Technology in business and said youths can benefit from IT and have also joined the billionaires’ club with the help of IT-based business.

He also suggested entrepreneurs to take challenges as opportunities.

“I had arrived in Sri Lanka when the LTTE had just blasted an airplane in Colombo airport,” he said, adding, “I would have regretted a lot had I not invested in Sri Lanka citing the volatile political situation.”
