July 4: Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) has opened its 175th branch in Balara Municipality in Sarlahi district.
Lawmaker Amaresh Kumar Singh of Nepali Congress inaugurated the branch amid a function organized on July 3.
“Banks in local levels are important for the development of the concerned sector,” said Singh during the inauguration.
Active participation of banks in urban, semi-urban and rural areas will help enhance the financial accessibility, said Dr Rabindra Prasad Pandey, chairman of RBB.
The bank aims to provide easy access to people by establishing branches in probable areas for sustainable financial expansion, informed Kiran Kumar Shrestha, CEO of RBB.
